After a hiatus of more than a few weeks, I return with news of the future.
Scott Bacon, play-by-play voice of the Lynchburg Hillcats, the Cincinnati Reds’ High-A affiliate in the Carolina League, joins me to talk future Reds, specifically top 2007 pick Devin Mesoraco, who is a catcher with the Hillcats, and has hit quite well this year.
Bacon and I talk about the Reds’ current philosophy under general manager Walt Jocetty and the life of a minor league broadcaster.
I also added a home run call by Bacon and an interview he recorded with Mesoraco last week.
