With Ohio State’s 24-7 win at Penn State in the rearview, and another big one coming up with Iowa at home Saturday, my Suburban News colleague Chris Galoski and I sat down to talk about all things OSU.
Both of us were especially impressed by Terrelle Pryor’s exploits in his home state, as well as Cameron Heyward.
Multiple times I had to stop myself from declaring the league all but won, but with Ricky Stanzi sidelined with a leg injury, it’d appear that the Buckeyes have the inside track to win their fifth consecutive, yes that’s five, Big Ten championship.

Wow, as a fan it doesn’t get much better than to see your favorite college football team (Ohio State) win a tough road game, your favorite NFL squad (Bengals) pick up a big division win and then, to put a cherry on top, to see your favorite college basketball player (Evan Turner) lead his team (Ohio State) with a triple-double in a win in the opener!
All that covers up my lack of skill in making NFL picks.
