My expectations and predictions:

The Ohio State University
I see the offense being much better than last year anchored by an improved offensive line. Pryor will be high-octane this season, what I like most about him is his attitude about the team and about winning. In that regard I am reminded of Craig Krenzel, hopefully TP displays Craig's cool under fire mentality as well as his excellent decision making. I think the receivers are better than last year. As you all know, I was a really big Brian Hartline fan, and we will need someone else to step up and drop big passes and fumble away key receptions, not to mention bitch & complain in the locker room. I don't know what to think about the defense. I will say this, I am glad Jim Heacock will be in the press box. I always preferred the bird's eye view for defense strategizing.

Prediction:
I see another 10-win season followed by a bowl victory either in the Rose or Capital One.

Conference Predictions:
Big East: How about Cincy again with Rutgers close behind

ACC: Georgia Tech

Pac-10: USC(they win the conference after a crushing defeat at the hands of the buckeyes)

SEC: Anybody but Florida

Big 12: Texas with Oklahoma State close behind. Oklahoma loses in week 1 to BYU.

Big 10: Ohio State rolls yet again. Iowa, Michigan State, Penn State not too far behind.

That is my input for this season. If we do play in a Florida bowl game and anybody is driving please stop at my place in Savannah, Exit 104 off of I-95. We have a warm bed and Buckeye hospitality. By NCAA rule I am only permitted to spend 22 minutes on Tuesday evening writing about college football so I must go. Even though I am sure not everyone follows the time constraints put forth by the NCAA.

This will be a great season, enjoy every minute of it. One day we will talk to our children about the great Buckeye teams of the past and all the great players and the great coaching of Jim Tressel and we will speak in a nostalgic manner and think those were great times, well, those times are right now. Play hard, Play fast, Don't give up! Go Bucks!!!
