I’m back and needed a boost from Facebook friends to get the show off the ground. Thanks! Brian Inglis and Matt Andrews each make return appearances on the show to talk about a variety of topics, including Steve McNair, Wimbledon and the Reds, among others.
What do you think about the Reds? At 41-41, they’ve been about as even-Steven as they could be, right? Does that, plus the fact they’re only 3.5 games out of first place, mean they should mortgage at least part of the future in order to win now?
Should they stand pat and assume that next year is the year? That would mean assuming that either a right-handed power bat would come along through the system, or blossom in the form of Edwin Encarnacion or Jonny Gomes, or that there would be a free agent available at the right price to get during the offseason.
We also talked about the Steve McNair saga, and when can you really determine that a person is a “great human being”?
The subject of Wimbledon was talked about, with Brian talking about the fact he felt this was, indeed, the best match ever played on the grass courts. Take that last year’s match!
Let me know what you think about these topics and feel free to bring some future topics to my attention that we can talk about on the show.
